Inclusions,
like birthmarks trapped during formation in the earth are for
gemstones what
fingerprints are to mankind.
They are their identity card , one can look at them in two ways
: defects or marvels of nature.
Of course they should be not too obvious to take over the
beauty of the gem.
They are proof of the origin and of the natural occurrance of
a gem.
They are one of the means of identifying a gem as natural or
synthetic (man made).

may look at in gems .
